Your most interesting questions need to be placed at the beginning. Keep your survey between 5 to 8 minutes in fill out length. Don’t use words your audience may not be familiar with. Have categories to group special questions about a certain topic. Slang or bad sentence structure are not good to use either.
There is no reason that web based surveys can’t be used as they do save you money, reach a much larger group of people and usually have great number crunching capabilities.
