Make Extra Money At Home Using Twitter
I am sure by now that you have heard the stories about people making extra money at home using twitter. You have probably been wondering are any of those stories true. I can’t speak for everyone, however I can tell you from my personal experience that it is possible to make money using twitter.
If you know me then you know that I have never been a big fan of twitter. Looking back at it I guess you can say that I had to eat a little humble pie. About six months ago my students began asking me a lot of questions about making money on twitter. For me the people had spoken, and it was time for me to listen. It wasn’t like I just jumped on twitter and the money started rolling in. It took me many trial and errors and thousands of dollars before I finally figured it out twitters dirty little secrets. I had finally realized that twitter was nothing more than another source of traffic. Once I took a step back and looked at the big picture I realized twitter was just like any other source of social networking traffic.
All though twitter was sending me tons of traffic the traffic wasn’t converting well. This was a problem that frustrated me to no end. For the life of me I couldn’t figure it out. Finally it hit me like a ton of bricks… Once I started sending my twitter traffic to a squeeze page and giving them something really cool, not only did my list begin to grow, so did my sales.
I come to realize that twitter was just another tool, and not an end all be all solution. I started testing twitter more and more, and once I had everything running like a well oiled machine and I began to launch other niche sites. This system works so well that I am currently training a team of people to duplicate it over and over for me. Think about that for a moment… How cool is it really? Just imagine having tons of little niches raking in cash on a daily basis.

Before you go out to build your twitter fortune I want to give you a piece of advice. Don’t waste your time on promoting cheap products. It will take you the same amount of time to make ten dollars as it will to make a hundred dollars. Whatever you do DO NOT SEND THE USERS TO A SALES PAGE.
When I first started testing I made the mistake of sending my twitter traffic to my sales page. I received a ton of traffic but the conversion ratio was horrible. Just to give you an idea of what I mean – out of approximately forty-thousand visitors I had only one sale for a product that sold for approximately one thousand dollars. It took seven months to make the sale. That breaks down to almost a hundred and forty dollars a month. My time and money would be better spent paying someone to build more adsense sites, since the majority of my adsense sites generate way more than that, and cost me less in labor cost to put up and get online.
